Sue has worked in the Events and Tourism Industry for over 25 years, currently heading up the Major Outdoor Events team within Culture Liverpool, as Head of Major Events.
In her current role she is responsible for the conceptualization and delivery of various large scale events for Culture Liverpool, Liverpool City council. Events with a capacity of up to 1.5 million, as well as the facilitation of third party events coming into the City.
Sue began her time in Liverpool with the European Capital of Culture projects, managing events such as ‘Liverpool Sound’ (The Sir Paul Mc Cartney concert), Clipper Round the World Yacht Race and the Tall Ships event.
Sue has been the Event Manager for projects and events such as; LFC 2019, 2022 & 2025 LFC Football homecoming parades, Giant Spectacular trilogy and Liverpool International Music Festival. Sue was also Head of Host City Operations for Eurovision in 2023.
