An event risk and safety consultancy based upon unique experience in the field of major events and mass gatherings. J.C. Initially worked and studied directly with Mick Upton for 18 years at ShowSec at events from Live Aid at Wembley Stadium to the Monsters of Rock, BBC Proms in the Park, Brighton's "Big Beach Bash" and VE Day plus Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston in Brunei for the 50th birthday of the Sultan. He ran the ShowSec Training School during the 1990s writing and delivering courses for more than 3,000 Door Supervisors at the major London nightclubs to comply with the new licensing scheme and was a regular presenter on crowd management for 10 years at the government Emergency Planning College in Yorkshire. In 2000 he formed his own consultancy and was retained to take responsibility for crowd safety for HM Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee attended by 1.6 million. He was retained as Head of Security for the International Live Music Conference [a role he still holds] and co-authored the crowd management plan for Liverpool "Capital of Culture" celebrations in 2008. He was Safety advisor to the RFU at Twickenham Stadium and re-trained all their supervisory staff. In 2006 he re-located to Australia where he continues his consultancy. He's responsible for safety for Sydney Festival and has toured Australia and New Zealand with Neil Diamond, Cat Stephens, Bon Jovi, Phil Collins, EMINEM and Queen. He's also safe advisor to Qudos Bank Arena Australia's largest [21,000 capacity] indoor venue.
