UKCMA Expands Membership

The UK Crowd Management Association (UKCMA) has expanded its membership and remit with two new members, Capita Symonds and University of Derby Corporate.

The addition of Capita Symonds, as one of the leading exponents within its sector, reflects the UKCMA’s desire to extend its associations to include relevant professionals in the field of public safety at events. There is a clear synergy between crowd management and public safety and it is hoped that by sharing experience and knowledge that working practices can be improved in this area.

The UKCMA also welcomes the addition of another respected educational establishment, the University of Derby Corporate, which hosts the Centre for Event Professionals Development www.derby.ac.uk/cepd .  The University is respected for engaging with ambitious commercial performers and provides cutting edge educational development to enhance their business’s successes.
